Veiled Votary - A Divine Themed Rogue Subclass

An agent of a church or holy order, the Veiled Votary acts as the hand underneath the cloak that ensures the organization it's a part of can function. Implementing normal roguish tactics with the divine magic their order blesses them with, they can shift between defensive **** and inquisitive assassins in the blink of an eye.

The Veiled Votary has complete level 20 support and will be compatible with any spell packs that expand the Cleric spell list. There should be no conflicts with other subclass mods, either!

____________Level 3____________

Spellcasting: When you select this subclass, you gain access to the Cleric spell list. You know 3 cantrips and 2 spells. You learn new spells as you level up and have quarter caster spell slot progression, such as Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster spell progression.

Eyes of the Faithful: While sneaking, you have advantage on Insight, Investigation, and Perception Checks.

Votary's Vow: Choose between Penance and Punishment. When you use a Spell that requires a Spell Attack Roll you can trigger your Sneak Attack to deal additional damage. If you instead cast a spell that requires a Saving Throw, you can use your Sneak Attack to deal additional damage equal to half of your Sneak Attack damage. If you choose Penance your Spell Sneak Attack Damage will be Radiant, and if you choose Punishment it will instead be necrotic.

Votary's Mercy: When you cast a spell that requires a Spell Slot and target an ally, you can forgo your Sneak Attack to restore hit points to an ally. The number of hit points restored is equal to your Sneak Attack damage.

Rebuke the Faithless: When you use your Votary's Mercy feature, when that ally deals damage to an enemy you can use your reaction to deal your magical Sneak Attack damage to their target.

Brand the Heretical: When you use your Sneak Attack on a Spell Attack Roll, the target has Disadvantage on the next Saving Throw it makes against a spell cast by you.

Silent Sanction: When you use your Sneak Attack on a Spell Saving Throw you can grant temporary hit points to an ally based on your Sneak Attack Damage.
