If mid game use this mod to get instruments: Tutorial Chest Summoning

with unlocked bonus spells. You can use bonus spells even if you are not proficient with musical instruments.

Where do I get them?

Deekin's Lute - Locked chest in Blighted village(Act 1).

Chieftain Rattlefang's Piccolo - Dropped by the Flind,  gnoll leader on The Risen Road(Act 1).

Captain ZaKrug's Drum - Dropped by the Za'Krug,  goblin raid leader(Act 1).

Assassin Styx's Piccolo - Found in the Harpy Nest to the south of the harpy encounter(Act 1).

Grobnar Gnomehands's Lute - Found on skeleton near locked Chapel hatch(Act 1).

Alfira's Lute - Quest reward for Rescue the Tieflings quest(Act 2).

Minthara's Lyre - In Minthara's Chest(Act 1).

Mrykul's Fiddle - Drops from Yurgir(Act 2).

Granny lris's Lyre - Locked gilded chest behind a pillar near Alfira(Act 1).

Granpa Soliel's Fiddle - Locked gilded chest behind a pillar near Alfira(Act 1).

Queen Morwel's Drum - Kill or pickpocket stargazer Nadira(Act 1).

Harpy Melody's Lyre - Found in the hidden Harpy chest near harpy encounter(Act 1).

Troubadour's Lute - Dropped by a mimic disguised as a chest in Grymforge(Act 1).

Other music instruments are sold in Chromatic Scale located above The Glitter Gala in the Lower City(Act 3).

Notes: Spells Mass Cure wounds, Aid and ranger summons scale to your character level. Planar Ally wont summon until you are level 11. Wraith wont summon until you are level 8. Prey's Scent changed so non Beast Master companions can benefit. Heroes' Feast wont conjure until you are level 11. Spiritual Weapon wont summon until you are level 7. Globe of Invulnerability wont work until you are level 11. Hypnotic Pattern wont work until you are level 5.

2. Deekin Scalesinger as a summon from his lute. He levels up with your character level. Summon him for better version at levels 5, 7, 9 and 11.

He is 10 Bard/2 Fighter at level 12, as he was scald I thought this would fit him. His spells and gear improve as he get higher level. No lute perform animation for kobolds, so he only whistles. He can upscale cast. No blood pool on dismiss! He has casting animations now!(1. 9v)
