About

Previously, to remove the baked-in blood, sweat, dirt, bruises and grime from NPCs, we had to edit their character visuals. The downside of this approach is that the mods would not be compatible with other visual overhauls. Script Extender v31 changes that, allowing us to manipulate those elements in a way that does not affect other mods.

Special cases like Florrick will need to be handled differently since they are handled by Larian's scripting. I recommend whatsontheflip's mods for those.

And yes, NPCs will still be able to accrue all the above during gameplay!

How to use

• []Open the MCM menu and click the "Scan NPCs button".[/]

  []Enable the NPCs you wish to clean.[/]

  The mod has presets that can be imported/exported as well as a "Enabled" filter.

  The search field accepts either names or valid UUIDs.

  You will also notice that I added a teleport button next to each NPC. Note that this can have dire consequences as you might spoil the story or get pulled into combat with much higher level NPCs. Use at your own discretion. They are there for convenience more than anything.

  Lastly, here are several console commands (ctrl+F12 by default if not enabled) to do things manually:

  !unz status - Show number of entries cleansed

  !unz add <uuid> - Enable cleansing for an NPC

  !unz remove <uuid> - Disable cleansing for an NPC

  !unz rescan - Rescan NPCs in the current session

  The mod comes with a base config already cleaning Jaheira, Karlach and Minthara.

  I have also provided a mod template to bundle your config to share as a mod. Feel free to upload it and enroll in DP.

  Installation

  Requires Script Extender v31 and Mod Configuration Menu .

  Install it with your mod manager of choice and ensure it loads after the latter, besides that, load order doesn't matter.

  The mod is save-safe, so can be added or removed at any time.
