Sorcerous Preparation

Compatibility notes:

This should be compatible with other mods, including those that modify sorcerer, and those that rely on the existing sorcerer spell lists.

This also includes a fix for a Vanilla game issue that could prevent level-up if there are missing spells on a spell list

What about other classes?

Wizards (Ritual Preparation changes only)

Advanced Usage:

On first load, the mod will create a settings file at:

%localappdata%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\SorcerousPreparation.json

The following behaviors can be changed:

enabled: (default: true)

You can change this to "false" to disable the mod without uninstalling it.

rituals_always_prepared: (default: true)

Rituals are always prepared and do not count against your prepared spell count. You can change this to "false" to change that.

with_scroll_learning: (default: false)

You can set this to true to also be able to scribe scrolls as a sorcerer (Warning: Unbalanced)

Settings changes only take effect when first launching the game.

A respec may be required after changing settings to have any changes to known spells and their preparation status be reflected.
