Ring of Convenience

What does it do?

Adds a ring to the game that gives +99 to your skill checks and offers a variety of utility spells.

If you're like me and dislike RNG and just want your rolls to succeed every time, this is for you. I got bored of having to save scum the skill checks and decided to just forego them completely.

This ring also adds a few spells that are useful during gameplay, but not overpowered. It adds:

• []Speak with Animals

  []Speak with Dead

  []Gaseous Form

  []Knock

  []Misty Step

  []Arcane Gate (removed the Spell Slot cost, still costs 1 Action)

  []Disguise Self

  []Fly (Tadpole version)

  []Detect Thoughts (removed Spell Slot cost, still takes 1 Action)

• Create/Destroy Water

  For those of you that already use two rings that you don't want to get rid of there's also a Lute version of this in the file.

  I also made different versions for the skill check bonus available, you can chose from +5, +10, +20 or the original +99, as well as two versions without any of the spells and just either +99 or +20 skill check.

  Where to find the item(s)

  You can find both the ring and the lute in the tutorial chest on the Nautiloid. Use the Summon Tutorial Chest mod if you've already left the ship.

  The trader in the Grove in Act I, Arron, also sells both items.

  Installation

  Use the BG3 Mod Manager to install.

  Should work with Vortex as well, but since I'm not using Vortex I can't test it.
