📋 About This Mod
Adds a 5e D&D translation of the Reaver, a Warrior specialisation from the Dragon Age series, as a Barbarian Subclass in BG3.

"Behold... the blood of the dragon, drawn from the beating heart of a wyvern. Drink in the strength of a thousand generations."
This mod is a combination of my favourite Dragon Age Specialisation (the Reaver, a warrior that gains heightened abilities through the drinking of Dragon blood) and my favourite D&D Class (Barbarian). It works as a new Barbarian Subclass that takes heavy influence from the Reaver Specialisation.
I tried to stay as faithful as possible, including using the skill icons and descriptions from Dragon Age Inquisition. However, due to being translated into 5e D&D and being a Barbarian Subclass, I did my best to make it fit into the game's systems while keeping its core identity from DAI.
The features of the Subclass are as follows:
Level 3
Rampage (Ability):
This is a new Reaver-exclusive Rage ability that has the same properties as Rage but also regains 1d6 hit points on each successful melee strike.
Devour (Ability):
This is a Once Per Turn melee attack that deals half your weapon damage (full damage while Rampage is active) but regains hit points on hit. The hit point gain increases as follows:
-
[]Level 3-5: 1d6 + CON Modifier
[
]Level 6-9: 2d6 + CON Modifier - Level 10-12: 3d6 + CON Modifier
Blood Frenzy (Passive):
This is a Passive that increases your damage the fewer hit points you have. You deal an additional +1 damage for each 10% of your hit points you've lost (+2 damage when you have 80% hit points, +3 damage at 70% hit points, etc).
Dragon-Rage (Ability):
This is a melee weapon attack that deals additional damage to both you and your target equal to 1d4 + your Proficiency Bonus (1d10 + Proficiency Bonus while Rampage is active).
The general gameplay loop of the Reaver is you use Dragon-Rage to deal damage while reducing your health in order to benefit from Blood Frenzy, then use Devour and Rampage if your health gets too low.
Scenting Blood (Passive):
The number you need to roll a Critical Hit is reduced by 1 (This can stack with other Crit roll reduction effects).
Level 10
Fervor (Passive):
Once Per Turn, when you kill an enemy, you gain an additional Action.
Terrifying Fury (Passive):
On a Critical Hit, all enemies in 6m must make a Wisdom Saving Throw (Reaver Spellcasting Modifier is CON) or become Fearful for 1 turn. This causes them to run away and do nothing else on their turn.
