PixellBytes' Adjustable Party Limit

1.) This mod is only supported on games updated to Patch 7 or Patch 8, depending on which version you download. Attempts to use this mod on patches other than the patch a version was intended for can lead to unforeseeable issues. Please always check what the supported patch is for a version of the mod before you submit any bug reports. You can see what the supported patch is in the file description before you download.

2.) This mod is a Nexus mirror of a mod available within the official Baldur's Gate 3 mod manager. You can install this mod in-game by either searching "Adjustable Party Limit" within the in-game mod manager, or you can click this link to see the official mirror from within your browser.

The "party limit" refers to the maximum amount of characters you are allowed to have in your party. This mod let's you change that number.

It's true that there are already quite a few other party limit extender mods such as Party Limit Begone, Aether's No Party Limits, and Configurable Party Limit. While those mods are each great in their own right, and you may still want to think about using them depending on what you want, Adjustable Party Limit has some unique features that no other party limit extender mod has ever had up to the time of writing this. Because of these unique features, I think you may want to consider this mod over other party limit extenders:

a.) This mod does not require Script Extender, nor does it require you to make changes to your data folder. It can be installed like a normal mod with no extra steps required.

b.) This mod is the first party limit extender mod with built-in ways to prevent you from encountering some of the most infamous party limit extender bugs, such as the Act 1 lake boat bug and the long resting bug. More details on these fixes are in a later section.

c.) This mod does not just unlock the party limit, but allows you to set the limit to a specific number of your choosing. (This feature is not exclusive to this mod, and is also present in Configurable Party Limit, but that mod lacks the two other features above.)

Please note that this mod does not change the number of human players you can have in multiplayer sessions. If you would like that functionality, please continue to rely on Party Limit Begone.
