Kai's Overhauled Appearance Interface aka KaiLimeUI

Finally, after months and months of on and off work, a couple game updates, several ground-up rebuilds, and a whole slew of nonsense, I can actually make a character and start a new game because the appearance UI no longer hurts my soul.

Born from my grief over losing PlusUI(thanks to Raizans for the inspiration wherever they may be), millennial nostalgia for the days of teaching myself html and css to make obscure fan sites on geocities, and a need for a distraction from real life- this is an expanded and rearranged 

KEYBOARD ONLY

Works for both Tav and the guardian and shouldn't affect anything except the right side panels in the character creator.

Install like any other pak. Import/drop into BG3 Mod Manager and set to active. I keep it near the top of the load order but I don't know that it has to be there. I've not wiggled it around to find out.

I don't use Vortex or the in game/official mod manager and I cannot troubleshoot them.

I will not be porting this to the in game manager/mod.io and don't want it added by others at this time.

Likely incompatible/interferes with mods that affect the charactercreation characterchangeappearance xaml files and their corresponding statemachine states. Not sure what to do there other than wiggling your load order around and hoping for the best.

Known visual bug: When creating a new character and loading into the cc scene you'll see the durge harem's party ui and maybe one of the appearance panels for a split second before the race/class/etc panels appear. I have no idea why. I've spent days staring at things trying to figure it out. It only happens on patch 8 and only when making a new character. Doesn't happen when using the mirror.
