Take the minimap from a 4096x4096 resolution to a 16384x16384 resolution. Make it much more readable and no longer pixelated
Glad to say that this mod is wholly unnecesary now. Larian have done a fine job on updating the maps for full release. Go enjoy the game!
Introduction
I thought the maps and mini maps of the game were blurry/noisy. So I took the main world minimap resolution from 4096x4096 to a 16384x16384 resolution using some AI image enhancers. Makes quite a big difference in game when zooming in.
1. Download
2. Copy it to the Mods folder (%AppData%\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)
Uninstall
1. Go to Mods folder (%AppData%\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)
2. Delete "Minimaps.pak"
