Gather Your Allies - More Familiar Faces (WIP)

Summon more familiar faces for the final battle

In the vanilla game, many of the allies summoned by Gather Your Allies are generic NPCs that you've never met before. This mod expands the available summon pool by adding familiar characters you've encountered throughout your journey. The number of individual summons has also been increased.

This does not replace any summons. All of the original summons are still available.

Please note: This mod is still a work in progress. Character gear, features, passives, etc. may change. The roster of summons will definitely change; this is just the first draft.

 Gameplay Balance

This mod is not balanced. Being able to summon more characters will make fights easier. Full disclosure: I wouldn't know how to make this balanced even if I tried.

Download the optional patch to set the amount of summons to the vanilla numbers.

Character Availability Conditions

• []Only characters that are still alive will be available as summons.[/]

  []Rugan will be a Zhent summon if the Zhents control the Guild. He will be a Guild summon if Keene retains control of the Guild and you convince him to leave the Zhents. He will have different gear and features depending on whether he is a Zhent or Guild summon. Rugan Restored - A Sweet Sight is required.[/]

  []Zarys is only available if you either saved Rugan, or returned the unopened Strongbox after Rugan's death.[/]

  []Nocturne is only available if Shadowheart has not eaten the noblestalk. In other words, she can only be summoned if Shadowheart no longer remembers her.[/]

  []Zenovia Dawg is only available if you have paid her off.[/]

  []Harper Geraldus is only available if you convince Jaheira to let him stay.[/]

  []Blaze Liara Portyr is only available if the Act 3 Hag is dead.[/]

  []The Ironhand Grenadiers will have different potential summons depending on whether Barcus or Wulbren is the leader of the Ironhand Gnomes.[/]

   Character Features | Level | Gear

  I have tried to keep the new additions at an equivalent level to the existing characters. Characters from earlier acts are given more appropriate gear, passives, abilities, etc.

  Note: When characters are given new armour, you won't see any visual changes (most NPCs don't visually equip their armour).

   How Does the Summon Pool Work?

  The summon pool is essentially a roster of potential summons, and each class action has its own separate roster. The game goes through each roster from top to bottom and fills the summon slots with the first available characters who are still alive.

  In other words, characters at the bottom of the roster will only be summoned if all of the other summons above them are already dead.

  This mod gives the game new rosters of potential summons, with all the new characters moved to the top of the roster.
