The 'Forge' this mod adds combinations to allow players to upgrade vanilla weapons and armor (common, uncommon, rare, very rare, and legendary) up to +5 (depending on which optional file was used). This is done by combining the weapon or armor with infernal or enriched infernal iron by using the 'Everlasting Forge' I have added to the game.

Additionally, mod authors can create their own combinations if they would like or install other mods that do so. The only requirement for the combinations currently are as follows:

  How to obtain

  The Forge is granted automatically as a one-time reward. It can also be obtained via the 'Summoning Chest' on the Nautiloid. Most major traders also have the Forge.

  Installation

  Installing this mod is very easy, but I have only tested this with BGMM. Start BGMM and do the following:

    []In BGMM Click File > Import Mod[/]

    []Select the mod from your downloads folder[/]

    []Drag the mod over from Inactive Mods to Active Mods[/]

    Upgrading Other Equipment Mods

    Due to the number of equipment mods out there I cannot feasibly include every item from every mod in this one to be upgradeable. However, I have created a tool which will allow you to either generate both the Weapons.txt files and the ItemCombos.txt files or automatically generate the entire mod (just needs to be repacked with bg3multi-tool after).     Compatibility

    This should be compatible with most mods. However, since it adds an item to the game that doesn't previously exist; it likely will break your save if you remove the mod in the middle of a play-through.

    I am open to ideas for this mod and am currently trying to upscale my modding abilities, so I will also take mod requests. I am open to added upgrades or combinations you can create with the forge out of the box.
