Farmer's Revenge - A Sorcerer Subclass Mod

INTRODUCTION

I had this idea that wouldn't leave me be...so for better or for worse, here we are. I had this idea of a sorcerer who decided to become a farmer, and avoid a life of adventure and magic. One day, their farm gets destroyed, family gets killed and they are left with a handful of farm animals and the need for fiery vengeance and justice burning in their hearts. Chauntea sees this, and grants the farmer her blessings, empowering her animals, and setting the farmer on the path to protect the common folk.

So, there were my two entry level subclass mods (the Green World Sorcerer and the Wyldling), and there was my full blown class mod, the Wyldheart, which I highly recommend you check out...and now we have this one.

This mod is a bit of a comedic take on the ideas I've had with summoning critters and giving sorcerers a bit of that druidic feel. Still, I did make this a usable subclass for Sorcerers, which gains extra spells, and special buffs for these enhanced farm animals...

REQUIREMENTS

If you want to access levels and abilities beyond 12, you will need the UnlockLevelCurve mod. If you aren't planning on playing past level 12, no worries.

You will also need the Compatibility Framework mod, and all that entails as well to utilize this subclass.

This is a Sorcerer subclass, the Vengeful Farmer

Vengeful Farmer -

Level 1: You can summon a chicken companion, learn Animal Friendship, Create/Destroy water, and Chauntea's Blessing.

Level 6: You gain the ability to summon either an ox, sheep, or pig companion, learn Plant Growth, Daylight and Chauntea's Blessing II.

Level 11: You learn Heroe's Feast, Sunbeam and Chauntea's Blessing III.

Level 14: You can choose another companion summons from the level 6 list, and you gain Chauntea's Blessing IV.

Level 18: You gain Chauntea's Blessing V.

Chauntea's Blessing:

And what does Chauntea's Blessing do for your summons? This is a buff spell that will last until a Long Rest. While on the surface it may look to be a bit powerful, it's only usable on the Vengeful Farmer's summons. You also have to consider that Ranger's companions get some pretty significant permanent buffs to keep them viable in the late game. This buff is my answer to that, and even keeps your low level summons somewhat viable in the later stages.

The buffs do not stack and will overwrite one another. They also should be more than usable with the buff spells your Vengeful Farmer can obtain from their spell list.

Chauntea's Blessing - Increases  companions AC, attack, hit points, and saving throws. This counts as a cantrip.
