📋 About This Mod
Frees up the Surfaces originally created by breaking the Potion of Vitality and 6 Elixirs of Resistance by creating aura-based replacements for them. Also frees up Blade Barrier Surface.
Description
If you've ever tried to create your own Surface using my Custom Surface Creation Guide, you've probably had to deal with the limitations of choosing from the small list of Larian's unused Surfaces. While they work fine, mod conflicts are starting to arise as more mods use the same base Surfaces for their mods.
This mod expands that list by changing how several items work in the game! 7 Cloud-Layer Surfaces and 1 Ground-Layer Surface are now at your disposal. Simply make this mod a Dependency for yours, and the following Surfaces can be used as you see fit.

What this mod does
The potions and elixirs above were originally set to create Surfaces when broken. There was no other way to create those Surfaces, and the Surfaces were always small patches which would disappear after affecting at least one character. This usage turns out to be easily replicated by a Helper and some Auras. I whipped up some graphics meant to look nearly identical to the Surfaces, and had the bottles create a Helper with the Aura instead of the Surface. With no way to create the actual Surface in-game anymore, those are now available to use!
Also, the oft-overlooked spell Blade Barrier has a Surface with no traits as part of its effects, mostly to look cool. The spell functions normally without it, so I have removed it from the spell, making it available as well.
Specific Changes Made
The Projectile Spells that created Surfaces were changed. No actual changes were made to the Potion/Elixirs themselves.
The Aura replacements work very similarly to the Surfaces, but there are some differences in behavior which I judged to be niche and thus didn't worry about. If you are interested, here are the differences:
[]The fakes will not disappear when Gust of Wind or a similar spell is used on them[/]
[]There is no Tooltip that appears when hovering the cursor over the fakes.[/]
[*]Unlike an actual Cloud-Layer Surface, the Aura will trigger when jumped or flown a little over, or when climbing an object that intersects the
