Custom Backdrops for Character Creation and Level Up

This mod adds customizable backdrops to Character Creation and Level Up screens. You can choose any single color, like a green screen, or any JPG image of your choosing.

Do not play Baldur's Gate 3 with this mod enabled! Only use this mod with the Character Creator, or with the Level Up screen. Do not save the game while this mod is enabled.

Delete the PAK file when you are not using this mod! Do not leave it in the Mods folder!

Installation with BG3ModManager and Vortex

Load the CCBackdrop.zip with the mod manager. And download CustomBackdrops. RAR.

Applying custom backdrops

Download the RAR file, CustomBackdrops. RAR, and extract it to Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Mods. Rename the file of your choosing to AMX_CC_Backdrop. DDS, or create your own Backdrop by using any of the files provided as a template. This file will then override the light blue AMX_CC_Backdrop. DDS image contained within the PAK file.

Changing Tav's Equipment

To change the character creator equipment, you need a customizable Equipment.txt. You can then change the default equipment of any of the classes available to Tav. If you only use the Equipment.txt for this, then delete it after you are done with this mod. Do not ever leave behind any loose files from mods you do not currently use.

Making Icons

With this mod, it is easy to make the 380x380 tooltip icons and the 64x64 inventory icons for new armor mods. Invisible Head & Body recommended for making headwear, footwear and glove slot item icons.
