📋 About This Mod
The Couatl Heralds were the peacekeepers of a long-gone civilisation. These Fighters adopt their methods, designed to de-escalate hostilities and bring down foes with non-lethal force. Based on homebrew released in The Griffon's Saddlebag.
The Couatl Heralds were the peacekeepers of a long-gone civlisation, advised by celestial serpents (hence the name). Though they may no longer be around, you've adopted their methods, which aim to de-escalate hostilities, defend all life regardless of trangression, and – when necessary – neutralise foes without resorting to deadly force.
This mod is based on the Griffon's Saddlebag subclass of the same name. While it's a bit more specific in flavour that most of what I port, I thought it was an interesting take on a Fighter that stepped a little outside their usual role. As a Couatl Herald you'll be able to act as more of a face than most Fighters, and you'll be rewarded for avoiding fights where possible. So might be a good idea not to dump Charisma, is what I'm saying.
While the game doesn't give much for taking people down non-lethally, a handful of specific situations aside, since it is around as an option I thought it was fun to play into it. If you do like this or any of my other mods I make, I have a tip jar set up here:
