Cazador Death Music Restored

Larian in their infinite tweaking decided to change the music during this climactic moment in Astarion's story. Luckily for anyone who preferred the old version, the original song is still in the game files, so I extracted it and turned it into a replacer. If you don't want to hear the orchestral version of "I Want To Live" after convincing Astarion not to go through with the ritual, this mod is for you.

Known Issues:

Because of the way BG3 handles music files, this replacement song will cut off abruptly due to being half a minute longer than what the game is currently expecting to play there. When I tested it, this only happened if I lingered for about 40 seconds on the first dialogue prompt after the death scene. If you choose a dialogue option within 40 seconds, the music should transition seamlessly.

Compatibility:

Tested and working on patches 8, 7, 6 and 5.

Should only conflict with mods that also override 84390842.wem

Installation:

Loose files version: Place the included Data folder in your Baldur's Gate 3 installation folder. (By default, this will be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3). To uninstall, delete 84390842.wem from your Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Public\Shared\Assets\Sound folder.

PAK version: Install using the mod manager of your choice (I use BG3 Mod Manager)
