Bite Nights - Astarion Actually Bites You

Bloodless gang, come and get your mod!

This mod adds a new scene that plays when Astarion feeds on the player character at night.

The mod uses unfinished vanilla animations, meaning there will be some clipping and alignment issues. I did my best to minimise them and make the scene work for a variety of body types, but the animations will line up best for body types with the same shoulder width as tall BT2 characters.

To trigger the scene, choose the ‘You can feed on me tonight’ dialog option before initiating a long rest. The scene will play as long as Astarion is in the active party and there are no queued camp events that force-skip the default sleep cutscene.

There are subtly different versions of the scene for Act 1/2 and Act 3 to reflect the growing intimacy between Astarion and his partner.

Recommended install with BG3MM.

It should be fine to install and uninstall this mod at any point.

As this mod uses vanilla animations, it has no known conflicts.

This mod is compatible with my other mod, Cuddle Astarion.

If you have both mods installed, place this mod above Cuddle Astarion in your load order to ensure both scenes trigger under the correct circumstances. If you’re eligible for both scenes, you will get the bite cutscene when Astarion is feeding that night and the cuddle cutscene when he isn’t.

The scene will play in all vanilla camps. It should work in modded versions of the camps as well, provided the location of the four main beds wasn’t changed.
