Better Hag Hair

Instead of receiving her hair as a consumable item every player receives a new skill/spell that you can use to increase an ability of your choice by +1. This skill can also be used to remove said bonus again and assign it to a different ability. On respec the bonus is automatically removed and you can choose a different ability to increase by +1 (or the same).

The skill is granted when you show Ethel mercy in Act 1, just like when you would receive the hair. The reward has been replaced by the inaccessible Hag's Ring which existed already in the game files but was unavailable.

When installing the mod later in the game, it will work just fine. The skill will be granted through a script that checks that you have shown Ethel mercy in Act 1, so unless you didn't fight her or killed her, you still receive it when the mod is added to an existing play-through past Act 1.

Killed Ethel or skipped her but still want to use the spell from this mod? Add it with Script Extender - type this in the SE console while having the character you want to add the spell to selected:
