Auto Lockpicking

Overview

Auto Lockpicking aims to streamline looting by automatically attempting lockpicking when you interact with locked objects that you don't have a key for. Thieves' Tools are still required.

It supports configurable options via MCM, but also works out of the box. Players can choose to enable or disable the mod's functionality based on the type of lock – whether it's on a chest or a door –, and whether it's owned (indicated by a red highlight when hovering them). Additionally, there are separate options for when the player is hiding/sneaking.

Works with Use Best Sleight of Hand.

Installation

• Download the .zip file and install using BG3MM, or use Vortex.

Requirements

- Mod Configuration Menu

- Volition Cabinet

- BG3 Script Extender (you can easily install it with BG3MM through its Tools tab or by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+T while its window is focused)

Compatibility

- This mod should be compatible with most game versions and other mods, as it mostly just listens to game events and does not edit existing game data.

- Mods that create locked objects such as chests and doors should be compatible.
