Mod Overview

The Act Two Expansion adds a new region to the game that takes place after the events of the Shadow-Cursed Lands. The main goal of the project is to give players a whole new region to experience that is similar in scope to the Act 1 Wilderness. This mod focuses mainly on exploration and combat designed for mid-to-high level (8-10) parties.

  Installation

  Use a mod manager or manually place the .pak file in your mod folder ( C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods). Enable the mod via the in-game Mod Manager on the Main Menu.

  There are two versions of the mod available to download:

  Main Download: This integrates the Act Two Expansion into the base game between Acts 2 and 3 where the mod takes place. See more below on 'Accessing the New Region'. Use this version for existing saves as well.

  QuickStart: This version will immediately start you in the mod after starting a new game so you can jump right in, skipping Act 1 and the Shadow-Cursed Lands. Equipment, Party Xp, and Hirelings are available at the start. I recommend using cheat mods alongside this to tailor your experience.

  (If you switch versions, you may have to disable the mod entirely and restart the game in order for the mod manager to recognize them as different files!)

  Things to Know

  • []Accessing the New Region: There are multiple ways to access the new region:[/]

            - The bridge out of Reithwin by the ‘Road to Baldur’s Gate’ waypoint that takes you to Act 3 will now load you into the mod. 

  This is the "intended" way to access the new region during a playthrough. Act 3 is now start
