📋 About This Mod
130 different container items that can also be used for camp decor AND a tutorial so you can name and describe them to your heart's content.
More bags, except this time they're bags, crates, coffins, otherworldly aquariums, broken music boxes, a throne made of books, and more. AND they have a tutorial for changing the names and descriptions to suit your organizing dreams!
There are a total of 130 containers. Each one can be placed in the world, and will look like its icon.
This started out as a sampler of each available chest, barrel, and other pick-up-able container. Then I started adding... other stuff. So there's a lot of familiar boxes, and a few things that aren't box-like at all. And... there's a lot of them.
Like all dropped equipment, they will stay with the "main camp" in each area, and then transfer to the camp chest when moving to another act.
Where can I find them?
In the tutorial chest, and vendors in each act:
Act 1: Aron in tiefling camp and Roah Moonglow in the goblin camp
Act 2: Quartermaster at Last Light, Roah Moonglow at Moonrise
Act 3: Danthelon in Wyrms Rock
Which version should I use?
-
[]If you just want to use the containers as is, and want the simplest way to install, download "Ready to Play"
[
]If you want the tutorial, download "Tutorial"Installing
If you're using the "Ready to Play" version, download and install as usual.
If you're using the "Tutorial Version," manually download and unzip gibi_Container_Tutorial, and you will find the following folders/files:
-
[]gibi_StorageSampler.pak - this is what you would install if you just want to use the mod as is
[
]gibi_StorageSampler (folder) - these are the files you will be editing to customize[]gibi_StorageSampler_Tutorial.pdf - the tutorial
[]index_home , etc. - indexes of containers and their names, sorted by type
Compatibility
Some of the bone-themed bags conflict with the "Undead Races" mod. They will display in-world, but not function as containers.
Item UUIDs
are in the article sectionFor anyone who tries the tutorial, I would LOVE to hear how it goes for you, especially if there were parts of the process that you struggled with. I tried to cover everything, but I’m sure there’s something I didn’t think about.
Also, there are still sooooo many in-game objects that would make awesome containers! Portals, magic lamps, piles of treasure, stewpots... If there's interest, I'll probably keep adding items.
