What is this Mod?

• []Intended to be used in concert with the Character Tag Ring mod.

  []Allows creation of characters with only the basic humanoid tag upon creation, hence the name.

  ⚠️ Caution! ⚠️

  This has been tested and is a functional mod, but we're in dangerous waters creating all kinds of unintended Tag combos!

  Back up your saves often! There is always a chance a crazy Tag combination could mess up your saves / playthroughs.

  Installation

  Simply drop the .zip into the BG3 Mod Manager. It is also available via the in-game mod manager.

  Known Conflicts / Limitations

  • []This mod likely conflicts with other mods that override the player and hireling root templates. (Untested)

    []This mod will not remove other mod's custom tags. This focuses on vanilla ones only.

    []Does not strip origin companions of their tags a.k.a. Shadowheart having the "Shadowheart" tag.

    • []Can you make your mods work with my favorite mod that someone else other than you or I created?

      []Unfortunately, the answer is no. Why? With all the countless other mods out there that there's simply too many permutations and it exponentially complicates maintenance on my mods.

      []But I'm a mod author and I'd like for our mods to play nicely together!!!

      []I've run into a problem with your mod. How do I submit a bug report?

      • []First thing's first. Unload ALL other mods and try the mod you're having trouble with one more time.

        []If that fixed it that means you've found a mod conflict. Please see FAQ 1 about addressing mod conflicts.
