Wyldling - A Sorcerer Subclass

INTRODUCTION

So, I basically wanted to create a kind of Sylvan Sorcerer from Pathfinder Kingmaker. As I worked through the process of making the mod, it evolved into the current form, the Wyldling. As a Wylding, you will learn to summon creatures to your aid, utilize unique buffs for them, gain some druidic spells, and gain a few Dryad-like abilities...

Just a heads-up, you do get a handful of goodies here. I opted for fun over balance...that said, if you are looking for a perfectly balanced subclass, you won't find that here. You also won't be one shotting and steam rolling everything either, but you will gain a good bit of utility and some pretty fun summons to play with.

REQUIREMENTS

The main file requires the Compatibility Framework if you want it to play nice with other Sorcerer based mods. If you don't want to install anything extra, and don't plan on using other Sorcerer based mods, then just download the optional file version.

Level 1: You gain proficiencies in Light Armor and Shields. You gain the Dryad ability, Grasp of the Forest. You can also summon a Raven companion. Finally, you gain a unique buff spell called Dryad's Blessing (works on your Raven and the Worg and is stackable with the other unique buffs you gain) and you gain the Entangle spell.

Level 6: You gain the ability to summon either a Wood Woad or a Worg companion. You learn a unique buff spell called Mother Nature's Invocation I (works on your Raven and Worg/Wood Woad), and you learn the Spike Growth spell.

Level 11: You gain the Dryad passive ability, Nature's Step. You learn Mother Nature's Invocation II, and you learn the Grasping Vines spell.

INSTALLATION

Using Vortex makes this much easier...but you can also check the following for a detailed explanation:

Alternatively, you can use the Win+R button and type in %appdata% in the box. Click OK, and navigate to the following folder:

C:\Users\yourusernamehere\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods

Unzip the zip file, and drop the Wyldling.pak into the mod folder. Then, load up the game, from the main menu, choose the Mod Manager. From there, click the "Installed Files" option and enable the mod by clicking on the blank box next to it, which should put a green check mark in it.
