Way of the Kishin

This is Charisma-based Monk subclass that can stand on its own or synergize as a viable mutli-class option for Warlocks, Sorcerors, Bards and Paladins.

Where appropriate, damage and other scaled values are specified to level 20.

This mod can be combined with Weave Monk subclasses using this mod.

Progression

• []Uses Charisma as Primary Ability and Spell Casting Ability

  []Gain proficiency in Charisma saving throws.

  []Unarmored Defence is upgraded to use your Charisma modifier, if greater than Wisdom.

  []Kishin Vigor - Reduce Necrotic and Fire damage by half your Charisma modifier.

  []Select one Aspect of the Kishin

  []Add first level Smiting Strikes (Sear, Brand, Thunder, Wrath)

  []Add one cantrip from a combined Warlock and Sorceror list.

  []Gain Consume Soul

• []Kishin Mesmer - Advantage against being Charmed and resistance to Psychic damage.

• []Kishin Vitality - Necrotic and Fire damage are now reduced by your full Charisma modifier.

  []Improved Smiting Strikes - Unlocks ability to upcast by expending Ki to deliver more damage.

• []Kishin Seduction - You are now able to cast Luring Song and Hypnotic Gaze. Note that Luring Song only works during combat,.

• []Kishin Enchantment - You become immmune to Psychic damage and cannot be Charmed or Frightened.

  Consume Soul

  This special skill can be used once per long rest to satisfy your benefactor and restore your power. By consuming the soul of a dead creature, your powers return and your ki points are fully restored. You also heal 1d8 per character level and gain Armor of the Kishin which is a varaint of Armor of Agathys but with temporary HP and damage dealt equal to your Monk level + your Charisma modifier.
