Feat Breakdown

Void Form is a custom feat that lets you choose from one of three deadly manifestations of the Void: Onslaught, Spectral, Assassin or Tormentor New.

With a bonus action, Void Form provides a powerful 10-turn transformation that recharges on a Short Rest, along with resistance to Necrotic damage and unique benefits tied to your chosen path. In addition, the feat grants +1 to an Ability Score of your choice (up to a maximum of 20).

The Feat is available to all classes, offering a flexible option at any level (4, 8 or 12) across a wide range of builds. While you are not limited by which path you choose, certain forms will enhance specific play styles.

Like my other mods, the goal is to deliver a power fantasy that still feels grounded in Baldur’s Gate 3’s mechanics. Some forms, like Onslaught or Assassin, may feel slightly overpowered early on, but as the game progresses, it will feel like a more balanced, moderate power up.

Similarly, the inclusion of a +1 Ability Score makes this feat stand out compared to vanilla options, but it's intentionally limited to a one-time boost to maintain overall balance.

Tormentor New - Best for Spellcaster characters who have AOE or multi-attack spells.

Unleash corruption as the Tormentor of the Void. Assuming this form empowers your spell attacks/spell save DC abilities with a chance (25%) to inflict an condition that can deal 1d4 Necrotic damage per turn and the 'frightened' status for 3 turns.

Modder's note: Does not work with Magic Missile since that spell has neither an attack roll nor spell save DC

Onslaught - Best for Melee-focused characters who make multiple weapon/unarmed attacks.

Deliver devastation upon your foes as the Onslaught of the Void. Assuming this form empowers your weapon or unarmed attacks to deal an additional 1d6 Necrotic damage.

Spectral - Best for Caster/Squishy characters and/or Tanks for the added resistance and dodge mechanic.

Untether yourself from reality as the Spectral of the Void. Assuming this form empowers your Resistance to all physical damage. Once per Short Rest, you can make yourself incorporeal causing an attack to miss (with a reaction).

Assassin - Best for Stealth and/or Ranged DPS for the advantage while obscured and invisibility.

Wreak havoc from shadows as the Assassin of the Void. Assuming this form empowers your Attack Rolls with Advantage when obscured. Killing an enemy melds you into the void, making you Invisible for 2 turns.
