Vestige of Divergence - Whisper

Forged with a mercurial metal pulled from the Far Realm, light dances and shifts across this curved blade. Two raven feathers are linked to its pommel as a memento of its former bearer.

Vestige of Divergence:

Whisper is an evolving weapon that increases in power at levels 5 and 10.

Bonus to attack and damage rolls (scaling from +1 to +2 to +3 at level 1/5/10).

Deals additional psychic damage (scaling from 0 to 1d6 to 1d8 at level 1/5/10).

Unlocks "Fate Touched" action at level 10.

Whispering Critical:

On a critical hit, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 14) or be frightened for three turns.

The wielder can throw the dagger and instantly recall it to their hand using the "Dagger" action.

"Dagger, Dagger, Dagger":

At the cost of two Action Points and one Bonus Action Point, the wielder can use Vax'ildan's signature attack, "Dagger, Dagger, Dagger", rapidly throwing and recalling the dagger up to three times.

Fate Touched:

If exalted, the wielder can teleport to Whisper when throwing with the "Fate Touched" action.

Notes:

This weapon is intended to be a mostly faithful recreation of the original weapon as seen in Critical Role, with some tweaks to make the wielder feel like Vax.

It's not intended to be perfectly balanced for BG3. Campaign 1 was a level 20 campaign, BG3 is level 12. As such, it's likely a lot stronger than similar vanilla weapons. With great power comes great responsibility.

SFX+VFX are a work in progress. Custom icons are on the to-do list.

Weapon Enchantment may not apply extra damage to spells.

Bonuses to throwing (such as the Ring of Flinging) likely won't apply to the spells.

Mod is in an overall "Good Enough" state. Balance will probably be adjusted in future updates, but old versions will be available for anyone who enjoys the high power level.
