Twinblades of Faerun

This is an attempt at bringing the Two‑Bladed Sword from previous editions back into the game. As of this alpha release, there are two twinblades available: one is a +1 and the other is a +3. I will likely add more variants later on.

I originally attempted to make them use the dual‑wielding ruleset, but it turns out that overriding animations in the game is pretty tricky. I ended up settling on using the quarterstaff as the base weapon type. Two items named Twinblade and Twinblade Offhand are still present in the files but are not meant to be used. The correct items are named Two‑Bladed Sword and Elven Two‑Bladed Sword.

For now, they are not distributed in the world, so you will need to use the console or the Easy Cheat mod to spawn them. They currently use the quarterstaff icon. Simply search for “two‑bladed” or “twinblade” in the Easy Cheat item spawner. The Elven version is the +3 variant.

When equipped, the twinblade should unlock an ability called Twinblade Flurry, which is a free attack usable once per turn. The weapon should interact properly with feats such as Great Weapon Master and the Great Weapon Fighting Style.

This is still an alpha build intended for testing. More features will be added over time, including custom icons and proper distribution to vendors and other locations in the world.
