Trinkets Of Phlegethos

Want to spice up your gameplay with powerfull trinkets from hell that have hidden effects/downsides? This mod got you covered!

They all have unique effects/passives that can trigger effects at random. They are strong, but don't underestimate the negative effects that can happen, they will spice things up.

EDIT: After getting some questions but not wanting to spoil to much I'll give a few example of the negative effects.

-A ring that grants you 3 charisma, 2 spell save dc and advantage on all attack rolls, but when you get hit there is a 1% chance for a level 10 boss beholder to spawn.

-A ring that grants you acces to powerfull vanilla spells like chain lightning and other level 6 spells, but everything you do triggers 1 of all wild magic triggers.

-A ring that grants devilssight and +2 to dexterity, but has a 5% chance to spawn a darkness cloud and make you blind for 2 turns.

-A ring that gives you advantage on all attacks and +3 to strength but has a 0. 5% chance to trigger a lake of hellfire in a 50meter radius.

-A ring that makes you really big (really) and gives you a bunch of melee buffs, but when you miss your attack, you have a chance to turn very tiny and loose some AC temporary.

These are just a few examples and hopefully helps in making your decision if these would be worth it for you to run. The beholder spawn is probably one of the worst effects that can happen but it also creates very funny moments.

I highly recommend you trying this out on an honor mode run! You might want to disable single save file if you take on this challenge.

If you want the items earlier in the game for whatever reason, just use an item spawn mod like EasyCheat or the ring of cheating.

Although I would advise either using Gabe's Loot randomizer on another Loot distribution engine to add to the randomness of the theme.
