📋 About This Mod

ToggleFX

Control every visual and sound effect in the game.

Tired of screen-filling spell effects obscuring your view? Annoyed by that one passive's constant audio loop? ToggleFX lets you selectively disable or customize VFX and SFX for any spell, status, or passive in the game intuitively with the MCM menu!

Note: When editing a status, it has to be re-applied with the refresh button for the new option to take effect if it was already active on your character at the time of edit.

Features

  • []Per-Effect Control: Toggle effects off entirely, disable just visuals, just audio, or use the recommended "Basic" preset. (Credit to robogena for the basic preset, best used on statuses)

[]Granular Mode: Fine-tune individual properties for complete control over each effect.

[]Flash Mode: For statuses, optionally show effects for just 1 turn instead of removing them completely.

[]Combat Options: Restore effects during combat so you can still see what's happening in fights.

[]Presets: Save and switch between different configurations. Export and share with friends.

[]Search & Filter: Quickly find effects by name, type, source mod, edited status or active on party.

[]Mod Support: Works with any mod that adds spells, statuses, or passives.

[]Pro Tip: You can hide the Half-Illithid appearance by filtering for active VFX or searching for "TAD_PARTIAL_CEREMORPH" and toggle off + refresh. (Thanks to makkoo for the Discovery!)

    Quick Start
    • []Open the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM).

    []Go to the ToggleFX tab.

    []Click Load Effects List.

[]Find an effect and click a toggle button: Default, Basic, No VFX, No SFX, Off, or Custom.

If you want a basic starter preset, check out  robogena's NoVFX mod.

Note: Features to flash or restore in combat will not work on the statuses edited by that mod if you use them together.

    Toggle Modes

    • []Default: Original game behavior (no changes).

[]Basic: Disables the main visual and sound effects while keeping secondary ones.

[]No VFX: Disables visual effects only, keeps sounds.

[]No SFX: Disables sound effects only, keeps visuals.

[]Off: Disables all VFX and SFX for that effect.

[]Custom: Opens a window to toggle individual properties.

      Combat Options

[*]Global Flash Mode: All disabled status ef
