📋 About This Mod
A class with no direct spells. Weave Patterns from Stitches, Plies, Needles, Selvedges and Knots at your arcane Loom, load them into Shuttles, and let reality comply. Unravel scrolls to grow your language.
VERSION 1. 3: 16 Positive Dyes coat your patterns with buffs, the Soft Stitch carries them for cheap, debuff dyes now use their proper saving throws, and the Unraveler's Almanac brings the whole unlock guide in game (spoiler warning included).
This mod adds the Weaver, a full class (levels 1-12) with two subclasses. The Weaver has no spell list: you build your own spells, called Patterns, by combining parts at an arcane Loom, then cast them in combat from Shuttles.
Class overview

[]Intelligence caster. Proficient with daggers, quarterstaffs and light crossbows; Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws.[/]
[]Main resource: Weave-Threads. You start with 8 at level 1 and gain 4 per level, up to 52 at level 12. Threads are spent when casting patterns and restored on a long rest.[/]
[]Pattern Budget: 4 at level 1, then 6/8/10/12 at levels 3/5/8/11. Patterns woven above your budget risk a Snag when cast (see below).[/]
[]Feats at levels 4, 8 and 12. Subclass choice at level 3.[/]
[]At level 11, Karsus's Folly removes the last safety limits of the Loom.[/]
The menu where you assemble patterns. Weaving at the Loom is free and everything lives in tidy submenus that grow as you level. Committing the frame into a Shuttle out of combat is free too; doing it mid-fight costs your action (the Unraveler does it as a bonus action) and makes the pattern unstable unless you are an Unraveler.
Twelve stitches in total: eleven damage/effect types plus the featherlight Soft Stitch, which deals nothing, costs half and carries your dyes. Fire, Cold and Lightning are known from level 1. The other eight, including Mending (healing), have to be discovered by unraveling scrolls. Which scroll teaches what is yours to find out; a full spoiler list lives in the Unlocks section below.
Finished patterns are loaded into Shuttles, which is what you actually use in combat. The Shuttle takes the icon, targeting shape and Thread cost of the loaded pattern. Reloading is free out of combat, so your whole set of patterns travels with you. More Shuttles unlock as you level up (six at the top end); in practice the limit is your Weave-Threads pool.
The more Plies, the greater the effect (x2, x3) for more Threads. Plying thrice is a discovery.
The Needles decide how the pattern finds its marks: a single thread, the Observer (weave it upon yourself), and from level 5 four area shapes with proper targeting previews: Broad Weave (a burst at a point), an Aura around you, a Cone, or a Line. A fifth kind, the Errant Needle (level 4), can be discovered: an unerring thread that never misses (no attack roll), woven through walls and around corners.
The Spread (level 5): set how wide the weave spre
