Lore — The Necrobroker is a loose BG3 interpretation of Valkrana's tabletop build and strategy. In seeking to gather and control information, Valkrana defaults to urchins and skeletons as her main mundane means, which can then be used in efforts such as espionage or running a printing press to further the Cause. In terms of magic, Valkrana makes heavy use of spells like Scrying, Sending, Detect Magic, True Seeing, and Detect Thoughts; Sending rarely goes unprepared. What's more, she has in her possession the Staff of Souls, an artifact which grants her the ability to collect the memories of nearby souls at the time of death.
