About
This mod dynamically switches Tav/Durge's hairstyle during long rests, restoring their original look by morning. Fully configurable through MCM; choose their evening and morning styles from any compatible hair mods installed.
I have made a Shadowheart version as well, be sure to check it out!
How to use
-
[]Simply open the MCM menu and select your preferred hairstyle from the dropdown or enter a hairstyle UUID if preferred.
[
]Allows you to edit the hair colour as well as highlights and greyings.[]Apply changes directly via the MCM menu buttons, no need to enter Character Creation or reload.
[]Has presets that can be imported/exported.
[]Extensions will always be restored in the morning. If you want to remove them at night, uncheck 'Keep Extensions' in MCM.
[]Works in Photo Mode.
[]Functions even for companions if played as Origin!
[]The hair catalog is built from every hairstyle installed, this means all vanilla ones (even NPC's) and mods like Lynia's Orin makeover.
Installation
Requires Script Extender and Mod Configuration Menu
Install it with your mod manager of choice and ensure it loads after the latter, besides that, load order doesn't matter.
The mod is save-safe, so can be added or removed at any time.
Known Issues
Currently, if using AEE, when applying a new hair style, it will also overwrite the current CC preset you picked.
To revert it, simply pick and apply the hair preset you picked.
Another work around is to pick a preset you will never use and forget about it.
For Origin companions, while the sliders for highlights and greyings are still present, they will not do anything. Use AEE or CCEE for those.
There are also several console commands (F12 by default if not enabled) to do things manually:
!tnh night - Apply night hair
!tnh day|reset - Restore day hair
Tav's Nightly Hairdo automatically changes your character's hairstyle during long rests and reverts it in the morning, with support for Origin companions. Configurable via MCM, this cosmetic mod adds a fun roleplay touch for Baldur's Gate 3 players who want their character to have a bedtime look.
