This is a mod I genuinely love — the concept, assets and design are all PavloGarmata's, and so is the credit. I'm not a developer; I just used AI to diagnose and rebuild the ability that was crashing the game. Released under the original author's permissions (the page asks you to ask before modifying — I've obtained the author's permission). If you enjoy it, please endorse the original first.

A radiant longsword in 6 variants. It carries Sunlight (an ever-present light that blinds), Blazing Sun (a radiant area burst), its stronger Blazing Sun · Awakened variant, and Phoenix (revive on a short rest).

• []Don't run this alongside the original (#3115) — it's a drop-in replacement of the same module. Use one or the other, never both, or they will conflict.[/]

  []What this build fixes over the original — the Blazing Sun / Awakened area abilities crashed or badly stuttered the game on the current patch; this build rebuilds them to the author's own working pattern and is stable in testing (full details below), plus a fresh, unified EN/CN bilingual.[/]

  How to get it

  Found in the nautiloid tutorial chest, and sold by several merchants — Araon, the Harper quartermaster, the Guildhall vendor, and the Voiceless Penitent near Orin. (Already past the tutorial? Any "summon the tutorial chest" mod works too.)

  What this version fixes & changes

  • []Crash / stutter fix for "Blazing Sun" & "Awakened" — on the current patch these AoE abilities would crash the game outright or cause heavy stutter. I rebuilt them to match the same author's working area-attack pattern from another of their mods; the abilities now resolve correctly and are stable in testing.[/]

    []New unified EN/CN bilingual — English + Chinese in one pak, auto by game language. The hero blade uses flavourful naming — Sun Blade / 炎阳之刃, with Blazing Sun / 炽热艳阳 as the signature burst; the Nightmare-strength variants are unified as "… · Awakened" / "…·觉醒" (e.g. 炽热艳阳·觉醒). Terminology is consistent across the series (Radiant, Heavy Hit, Panicked, Blinded, etc.) and anchored to official BG3 wording.[/]
