Part of the July 2025 Modathon:

This mod adds a short quest about saving a lovely Air Myrmidon - Wimdy.

He's bound to the spirit of a great Storm Sorcerer.

All quest items can be found in Act 1

We decided not to give XP rewards, so that we don't mess with the game's intended difficulty progression.

This mod requires a new playthrough (or the manual spawning of one key item, OBJ_AmuletT1_88d78701-f732-4100-a618-c6278fef7be2)

Description

We tried to combine the themes of Storm & Ghosts. This questline is a short story about friendship, anxiety, and devotion. All can be forgiven in the end.

The mod features a challenging boss fight, and an awesome quest reward :)

The Beginning

This questline starts in Act 1 at the Beach. It is near the player's first spawn at the Crash Site. (You can't miss it!)

The closest Sigil: Overgrown Ruins.

Walkthrough (Spoilers!!)

• []Discover the Air Myrmidon near the Nautaloid crash site.

  []Read the Sorcerer's note nearby the skeleton.

  []Decipher the note's clues, leading you to a hidden chest buried on a hill behind the Mud Mephit / Wood Woad fight in the Hag's Swamp.

  []Read the Sorcerer's diary entry found alongside the Binding Amulet inside the chest.

  []Return to the Air Myrmidon, and place the Binding Amulet inside of the sorcerer's skeleton.

  []Equip and use the Cleansed Binding Amulet on Wimdy to make him vulnerable.

  []Defeat Wimdy and obtain the Myrmidon Ashes

  []Combine the Charged Binding Amulet with the Myrmidon Ashes to complete the quest, freeing both of the bound spirits and discovering a new companion.
