Summon Nero the Cat (Familiar)

Do you love black cats? Are you looking for a cat to complete that witchy/warlock theme? Or are you just looking for another friend to join your party? Just grab this special amulet and say 'pspsps' and he'll appear.

Like black cat familiars of old, Nero can serve you in the ways of protection, guidance, and connection to the unseen world. Just make sure to return the favor with pets and plenty of treats!

  Fun fact: The price of the amulet/scroll equals Nero's real-life adoption fee.

  Update July 11, 2025:

  - Added spell scroll that can be used (not consumed upon use) or learned by wizards. The scroll can be found in the tutorial chest or in the shop locations. Thank you to Sanaerys for the suggestion!

  - Updated Nero's spellcasting modifier to Wisdom (previously Strength). I believe this change is more in line with some lore of black cats and my intention for him.

  - Updated Nero's claws attack modifier to Dexterity (previously Strength). DEX is his higher stat and he is more agile.
