📋 About This Mod

A set of scripts that alter inventory management rules during combat. Features notifications currently localized in English and Russian.

OVERVIEW:

ALL OF THE BELOW APPLIES ONLY IF AT LEAST ONE PARTY MEMBER HAS ENTERED COMBAT AND IS CANCELLED UPON ALL CHARACTERS LEAVING COMBAT.

  • []Items located in a character's inventory are accessible only to that character. No item can be transferred to another character by dragging the icon between shared inventories or by any other means.

[]Active items such as potions, poisons, grenades and bombs, scrolls, and everything else, can only be used by the character in whose inventory they reside (Yes, you now actually have to manage your characters).

[]Items found in the open world (Barrels, alchemical resources, weapons, anything lying on the ground), items inside containers (Chests, Barrels, Crates, etc.), and items appearing as loot (in creature remains) can only be picked up by the character who initiated the action (the Active Character i.e. the character you are currently controlling).

If the Active Character drag-and-drops any of the above items into a party member's inventory or onto their portrait, the item will end up with the Active Character (this includes item stacks, e.g., 5 potions).

[]Any item that leaves its owner's inventory by any means becomes unbound. Any item (except gold) that enters a character's inventory becomes bound to them. (Dead characters have separate logic, described below)

[]Items in a dead character's inventory lose their bound status if there is a living and capable party member near the dead character, and regain bound status if that living, capable party member leaves the area of the dead character. (Capable means they do not have the Downed, Sleeping, or Grappled statuses. In the next version, I will add all necessary statuses to the blacklist.)

[]A character within a 3-meter radius of the dead character can take their items. If an attempt is made to transfer a dead character's items to a character who is further than 3 meters away, those items will be returned to the dead character.

[]Items can be freely moved around or used within the owner's inventory.

[]Gold is excluded from all rules.

ISSUES:

[]Bound items cannot be dropped via the context menu ('Drop') or by drag-and-drop onto the ground. (Main issue to fix)

[]Items intended for transfer can currently only be thrown via the 'Throw' action, not through
