* Please note that while "Night Piercer" is fully patch 7 ready, the "Night Piercer SE" version requires Compatibility Framework and Community Library which still need to be updated for patch 7 (as of 9/7/24). It currently works for me but it may not work for everyone until those updates come out.
Night Piercer / Light Piercer
Tossing firebolts around is really more of a Wizard thing, and as a devout Shar worshipper Shadowheart deserves a unique and fun go-to offensive cantrip. Night Piercer is a level scaling thunder damage cantrip with a Nightsinger inspired visual theme. Blasts scale with level as expected and should be fairly in-line balance wise as a replacement for Firebolt. Also adds the Light Piercer cantrip for all clerics as a single target radiant alternative.
With the 2. 0 release you have two options...
Night Piercer: Has no requirements to install, immediately granting Shadowheart Night Piercer (cleric only) and all other clerics Light Piercer. This version is incompatible with some other cleric focused mods.
Night Piercer SE: This version requires Script Extender, Compatibility Framework and Community Library but is fully compatible with all other mods. Both Night Piercer and Light Piercer become available to learn by ANY class that can cast cantrips (including through Initiate feats). See stickied comment for installation.
If you have any older version of Night Piercer simply uninstall it and install a new version. You may get a warning about a missing mod but it won't happen again after you have saved with the new mod installed.
Uninstallation
All versions will uninstall without issue via Vortex at any point in your game (BG3MM/Manual untested but should be fine).
