Shadar-Kai (Drow tag)

Adds the Shadar-Kai (from Mordekaien's Tome of Foes) as an elven subrace, tagged with the and dialogue options.

Shadar-Kai subrace

At 1st Level

• []As an Elf subrace, the Shadar-Kai inherit Elven Weapon Training, Fey Ancestry, and Keen Senses.

  []The additional Shadar-Kai Weapon Training, which grants proficiency with flails.

  []Resistance to both magical and non-magical Necrotic damage

  []Superior Darkvision of 24m.

  []The bonus-action teleport skill Blessing of the Raven Queen. The teleport has a range of 30 ft, and is usable a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, with all uses refreshing on a long rest.

  

• []Using Blessing of the Raven Queen now gives the player resistance to all damage until the start of their next turn.

  At 5th Level

  • []The passive ability Creature of the Shadowfell, granting immunity to the shadow curse

    Installation

    Use the bg3 mod manager. Load order should not matter.

    • []If anyone knows how to remove passive traits gained at level 1, please share. I would want to remove the Elf's Darkvision (strictly inferior to the Shadar-Kai's Superior Darkvision)

      []The immunity to all damage may be too powerful, especially so early. Feedback on this is welcome.

      []Right now the character sheet says Seldrane Drow in many places, due to the way I tagged the subrace. I have a custom shadar-kai tag along with the drow tag, but I do not know how the engine selects which tag to display.

      Inspired by NellsRelo's Raven Queen's Chosen - Shadar-Kai. That mod doesn't tag the Shadar-Kai with any specific racial dialogue tags, and for my playthrough, I didn't want to miss out on those options, so I created my own version.
