SAVAGE SORTILEGE Critical failures now have consequences.Missed Opportunity changes how combat mistakes are handled. When a friend or foe critically misses an attack, they may immediately retaliate. Every failed strike creates an opening. This applies to players and NPCs alike. The goal is simple; Make combat more dynamic.
OVERVIEW
Savage Sortilege changes how combat critical hits are handled.When a character critically hits, buffs to the attacker, or debuffs to the target, may be applied.
All of these effects/conditions, and even if you'd like to keep or remove the bonus damage from critical hits is MCM configurable.
The goal is simple. Make combat riskier, tenser, and more chaotic.
"You’re fighting to survive. You launch a fierce but reckless attack.
Then you make a critical hit - your opponent is dazed from your mighty blow.
Now they're vulnerable, weakened, and more exposed to further strikes."
This mod brings this logic to BG3
This is meant to be used alongside my other mods.FEATURES
1. Triggers on critical hits (natural 20).
2. Crits can cause advantageous status effects on the attacker,
or lead to disadvantageous status effects against you or the enemy that's getting critical hit
(100% MCM configurable).
3. Works for both friends and foes.
4. Uses existing game mechanics where possible.

Load order shouldn't matter.

Safe to add or remove mid-save.
