📋 About This Mod
Sanctified Flame - a combined Fire and Radiant Sacred Flame.

Splits the 1d8 Radiant damage of Vanilla Sacred Flame into 1d4 Fire damage and 1d4 Radiant damage, and introduces further utility in a flavourful way; Aberrations, Fiends and Undead take an additional 1d4 Fire damage and 1d4 Radiant damage and have their applicable Resistances ignored on a successful cast, and will take half the base damage of the Cantrip on a successful save. Successful casts also apply a 2 turn DOT effect that has a unique Stack ID, meaning it will stack with other forms of Burning; Aberrations, Fiends and Undead will take additional Radiant damage from the DOT. Unsuccessful casts/ Successful saves still damage Aberrations, Fiends and Undead, they just take half the base damage of the Cantrip (no bonus dice), and any applicable resistances will further limit the damage dealt. As a bonus, if the caster has Potent Cantrip, then failed casts against Aberrations, Fiends and Undead will still deal the full amount of standard damage (no bonus dice) and will ignore resistances, and there is a reason for this specifically: Due to how the game is coded, the argument that allows attacks to globally ignore resistances seems to also have the added effect of any damage ignoring Vulnerabilities; if this damage could be reduced by Resistance, then it could also be doubled by Vulnerability; it'd be a tad strange to say the least if a failed cast could result in a caster doing more damage of a certain type than on a successful cast.
As can be seen in the screenshots, the overall damage displayed in the tooltip(s) is slightly misleading due to how the engine displays it (exemplified in the Vanilla Vampire Bite tooltip); I can't really fix that, unfortunately. With that being said, it works simply enough, and scales the same as other Cantrips (damage dice-wise most similarly to Sacred Wind), with the DOTs increasing in potency at Level 11:
[]At Level 1: 1d4 Fire damage + 1d4 Radiant damage, 1d4 Fire DOT; Aberrations, Fiends and Undead take an additional 1d4 Fire damage + 1d4 Radiant damage, 1d4 Fire + 1d4 Radiant total DOT[/]
Sanctified Flame is a compact spell mod that introduces a new cantrip combining Fire and Radiant damage as an alternative to Sacred Flame. With 37 endorsements and 828 downloads, it's a niche addition for players seeking a thematic sunlight-based offensive option.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny but dedicated following (37 endorsements) — niche mods like this often fly under the radar but hit the spot for thematic builds.
- 828 downloads show there's real interest in sunlight-flavored spell alternatives.
- Simple concept: one new cantrip, no bloat — plug and play for cleric or paladin types.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated December 2025 — could be stale if the game's had patches since then, so watch for conflicts.
- Only one spell added — if you're looking for a full spell pack, this won't scratch that itch.
For players who want a thematic twist on Sacred Flame, especially those running sunlight or fire-focused clerics. Skip if you need a broader spell overhaul — this is a single-cantrip addition.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check your mod manager's load order — place this after any spell overhaul mods to avoid overwriting.
- If you're on a modded setup with custom cantrip lists, test in a new game or after a save clean to ensure the spell appears.
- Since it's a cantrip, make sure your character class can actually use it — some classes don't get cantrips by default.
