This mod restores some lost Rugan content - namely he will now appear in act 3! No more disappearing after Act 1 after promising us a drink! Sadly, he will not appear at the Elfsong as promised, but instead at the Guild hall with the other Zhents.
In good news though, there is a full conversation you can have with him, with dialogue options and even a dice roll to persuade him to leave his post. He will head to the bar upstairs if you do so - that drink's so close you can almost taste it.
Rugan will only appear in Act 3 if the following requirements are met:

[]You got rid of the Gnolls at the cave in act 1, and Rugan survived the encounter.

]You did not take the locked chest/flask from him, and let him deliver it to Zarys in peace. (if he got tortured by the other Zhents and you have to free him he goes into hiding and will not appear in Act 3.)[]You don't kill him in the Zhent hideout in Act 1, he must be alive to appear.
Notes for the dialogue itself:

[]He has a unique dialogue option for rogues.
[]If you speak to him while he's moving between his original spot and the bar, he'll just stand there for a long while, he's not broken and eventually gets moving again.
[]If you don't try to convince him to leave his post during the first conversation, you cannot try to do so later.
[]If you do not convince him to leave his post before the Zhentarim turn on the guild, he will be involved in the battle and will die with the other Zhents if you side with the Guild. If you convince him to abandon his post beforehand, he will sit it out and survive, regardless of the outcome.
To create this I had to override the following OSI scripts, so this mod will not be compatible with other mods that alter them:

This mod was made using the official BG3 toolkit, so will not be compatible with versions of the game prior to patch 7/8.
