DESCRIPTION
Typically, a partial rest is only used for role-play reasons like checking out the latest camp drama. But the gameplay elements undermines its utility.
Removes the following gameplay elements from Partial Rest:
• Hit point restoration
• Resource restoration (spell slots etc)
• Until Long Rest condition removal ¹
¹ Also applies to items (eg 5. 5e Magic Weapon)
This is a huge quality of life for spell casters where, without this mod, a partial rest will remove their Mage Armor, requiring them to expend a spell slot to re-apply it in the morning. Since partial rest only restores spell slots up to half the maximum, this ends up wasting their spell slots which makes partial rest and Mage Armor a frustrating combination - no longer.
