The ludonarrative dissonance of how valuable Omeluum claims this ring to be versus how useless it is in gameplay finally got to me, so I wanted to give it a more powerful (but lore-consistent) passive.
The new passive is called Mind Shield (renamed from Shelter):
- The wearer (has Advantage on Saving throws against Charmed) can't be Charmed or Frightened, but cannot draw on the power of their tadpole.
The rarity and gold value of the ring are also increased.
