Revise Dialog - Custom Small Dialog Edits

Create small, simple dialog edits without overriding game files. This mod will not conflict with mods that override cut scenes, and can be used to edit modded scenes. So yes, this is compatible with my other mods as well as other people's cut scene edits.

Instructions

Unzip the archive contents.

• []Copy the contents of Mod_Pak into your Mods folder. MOXI_ReviseDialog.pak is the mod itself but it will not do anything without the next step![/]

  []Copy the contents of Files_For_ScriptExtender_Folder into your ScriptExtender folder at:

  C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender[/]

So the result should be:

C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\MOXI_ReviseDialog

What can the mod do without customization?

The mod files ship with some base edits that I thought might be fun.

• []astarion in party dialog,

  []Adds the following four greetings to AA, UA and before black mass romance greetings. You need to be partnered.

  []Precious little Bhaal-babe![/]

  []My dagger happy friend[/]

  []My sweet, conflicted villain[/]

  []You have a manner of irresistible desperation about you. I like it.[/]

[]Changes tav option for romance to “Let’s talk about us!”[/]

[]astarion partnered dialog

• []Adds “Gods yes, I’ve been waiting” to kiss response[/]

  []Adds the following dialog option

  []You’re so sweet — a node from elsewhere in the partnered scene, astarion will reply[/]

[]Edits the following dialog option

• []Could I kiss you? → Could you kiss me?[/]

There’s also some other edits:

• []spider lick scene, allow you to lick the spider infinite times[/]

  []astarion end game kiss, use UA’s kiss and AA’s post kiss dialog for both paths, and allow you to kiss him infinite times[/]

  How does it work?

  By writing json files, you can make dialog edits dynamically, in game, at runtime, right before the scene is shown. Here is the example that changes Astarion's romance
