Rebalance - Racials

Adds major buffs to dragonborn and minor buffs to humans, shield dwarves, rock and forest gnomes as well as reducing the cooldown on all spells acquired by race to short rest. Additionally racial spells are no longer tied to a specific ability, but use your highest ability (except CON) to determine their success.

All Races

  []Affected are: Faerie Fire/Darkness (Drow), Hellish Rebuke/Darkness/Burning Hands/Flame Blade/Searing Smite/Branding Smite (Tiefling), Enlarge (Duergar), Enhanced Leap/Misty Step (Githyanki), Relentless Endurance (Half-Orc)[/]

  Dragonborn

  While popular for their looks and for roleplaying, Dragonborn are an extremely weak choice in terms of power level and gameplay strength. This is why they gain a larger rework and additional buffs compared to other races. Poison and Acid types get an extra passive, since the resistance they provide and the damage type of their breath are less useful compared to other subtypes (Fire is good defensively, Lightning/Cold good offensively).
  • []All dragonborn gain Dragon Scales, which lowers all incoming damage by 1[/]

    []Green dragonborn gain Dream Scales in addition, which will put melee attackers to sleep once per short rest[/]

    []Acid-type dragonborn gain Caustic Scales in addition, which causes melee attackers to roll a DEX save or be afflicted with the acid condition[/]

    []All dragonborn breath attacks scale up in damage every 2 levels starting from 2d6[/]

    []Fire and poison type breath attacks deal slightly more damage, starting at 2d8[/]

    []All breath attacks apply an appropriate debuff (Burning, Shock, Poison, Acid, Frostbite)[/]

    []Line breaths are now 9m range, cone breaths 6m range[/]

    []Each dragonborn type is immune to some effects associated with their element e.g. acid types cant be affected by Acid or Caustic Brine[/]

    Note: Unlike other mods, I did not change that Dragonborn Breath attacks are short rest cooldown and use an action. I wanted to keep these limitations so I could make the breaths powerful and satisfying to use rather than available more often but feel und
