📋 About This Mod
I find it's more engaging (and faster!) if all the player characters take their turns at the same time, especially when you're playing online with friends. This mod sets your whole group's initiative to be the average of your individual initiative rolls so that you can all go together.

[]Tested for compatibility with: True Initiative, Trials of Tav, Combat Extender AI, Rebalance, Expansion
[
]This mod does not account for pets/summons. If you want your summons to share initiatives with you, I recommend using Summon Initiative Fixer, which should be compatible with this mod. (Note, I haven't tested these together yet for patch 7.)[]This mod generally should be compatible with any mods related to initiative that are simple stats adjustments.
[]I'm still looking for a workaround to update the turn order within-turn that will work with patch 7. Although player initiatives and the visual display in the topbar are synced (almost) immediately, the actual turn order may not be updated until the following round.
- I am a rank amateur and haven't the slightest idea of what I'm doing. This is my first BG3 mod so I'm sure I'm messing things up. Please leave a comment or bug report if the mod doesn't work for you!
This Baldur's Gate 3 mod changes initiative rolls so all player characters use the average roll across the party, making combat order more predictable. It's a small utility for players who want to reduce randomness in turn order.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Makes combat order more consistent, reducing the frustration of a single bad roll.
- Lightweight mod with low overhead, easy to slot into any playthrough.
- Active development (last updated September 2024) with a small but engaged user base (25 endorsements).
⚠️ Cons
- Very niche feature—only useful if you specifically want to remove initiative randomness.
- Low endorsement count (25) means it's not widely tested; potential for bugs or conflicts.
For Baldur's Gate 3 players who want more predictable combat order and dislike the swinginess of initiative rolls. Skip if you enjoy the chaos of random turn order or want a more comprehensive combat overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod only affects player characters, it won't change enemy turn order—plan your strategy accordingly.
- If you're using other combat mods, test this one in a quick combat encounter to ensure no conflicts.
- Check the mod's page for any updates or patches if you're playing on a newer game version.
