Photobooth

Photobooth (PB) is a custom map mod for BG3 that introduces new BG3-inspired locales designed as little movie sets for virtual photography and videography. The mod features several themed areas as well as variations for different times of day. These maps are not meant for gameplay. There are no quests, no formal NPC scripting, etc. Disclaimer: Depending on what game items I’ve used to build with, a set may or may not contain game spoilers. While I try to minimize this, I can’t guarantee that every single item in the mod is spoiler-free.

Latest Update: The Amusement Park - COLLAB!

Accessible via a brand new "special" waypoint called "AmusementPark", make your way to the happiest place in Faerun - RAVILAND! This special, nighttime set is sure to delight with three amusement rides, a bright midway, several carnival games, food stalls, and more.

You may need to re-enable the mod in the in-game mod manager. You may need to toggle the spell waypoint to discover the newly added "AmusementPark" waypoint.

The Amusement Park/Raviland was done as a collab with two other amazing modders and has matching poses and props available:

How do you use the mod?

• []Make a back-up save before installing. This isn’t a requirement for PB, this is just my neurotic recommendation before trying new mods in general. [/]

  []Install like any other mod. I recommend using the BG3 Mod Manager. Load order does not seem to matter (I think?). Mine is running at the bottom of my mod list.[/]

  []Start your game normally. When loaded, look for the Photobooth spell (dimension door icon). Cast the spell to toggle the waypoints on.[/]

  []View your list of waypoints in the fast travel menu. At the bottom of the list should be the Photobooth maps with each labeled for time of day.

  Note: All of the sets in a specific time of day (day, sunset, night, etc.) are traversable within that time of day. For example, you can walk from the daytime beach to the daytime library. However, if you want to go from the daytime beach to the night library, you will need to fast travel to the “MonasteryNight” waypoint and walk to that set. [/]

  []You can cast the Photobooth spell to turn the waypoints off when you’re done to keep your fast travel list neat and tidy. While not required, it’s recommended that you only toggle the waypoints on when you want to use the PB maps and then toggle them off when you’re done.[/]
