Photobooth - Pool Party

Who's up for a POOL PARTY!

Pool Party is a night-time, sample set from the upcoming Photobooth map mod. With half the world in summer, our characters and companions could use a day at the pool to live out their best photo mode shenanigans into the wee hours of the morning.

This sample set features a large pool with a shallow and deep end with a diving board, lounge chairs, a tall table set for a meal, and small picnic on beach blankets/towels.

How to Use

• []Install like any other mod. Load order does not seem to matter. You can load it into the bottom without issue.[/]

  []Cast any spell (can be ritual, T1, etc.). You will see a "Waypoint Unlocked" prompt.[/]

  []Use your fast travel menu to travel to the new waypoint at the bottom of the list.[/]

  Helpful Info

  • []Keeping a save prior to the discovery of the waypoint is recommended. It's always helpful to have something to rollback to incase things bug out.[/]

    []Since this is just a sample level, it does not have all the functionality of the full mod - namely, it does not have camp support. In order to access camp, fast travel to any official in-game map. From there you can travel back to camp.[/]

    • []What is Photobooth? - Photobooth is a custom map mod being built for BG3 that introduces new BG3-inspired locales designed as sets for virtual photography. The mod will feature several themed areas as well as variations for different times of day.[/]

      []Sets? - Think of these areas like movie sets for your characters. The design, spacing, and lighting were all created with virtual photographers in mind. The spaces are a bit larger than you would find in a gameplay level to be more accommodating for script users. The lighting is better tuned for visuals instead of in-game realism. You may also find yourself being able to traverse areas and interact differently with items you normally cannot in game. These maps are not meant for gameplay.[/]
