📋 About This Mod
The bleeding condition that this subclass causes isn't the same as the base game bleeding condition. It does more damage and creatures that are immune to standard bleeding aren't immune to it. However, if you're using an item that gives you a benefit against bleeding enemies, that benefit won't work with this type of bleed.
Bleeding Condition: 1d4 magical slashing damage at start of turn and disadvantage on constitution saving throws. Damage increases to 2d4 at level 6 and 3d4 at level 10. At level 10, the damage is still listed as 2d4 for some reason, but it's dealing 3d4 in the combat log.
Whenever you cause the bleeding condition, it creates a separate instance of the condition instead of stacking it. For example, if you cause the bleeding condition twice in one turn at level 3, the affected creature will have two separate stacks of bleeding each lasting one turn, and they'll take 2d4 damage at the beginning of their next turn.
Level 3.
You receive all the standard benefits of Rage plus the following:
-
[]Temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian Level + Constitution Modifier.
[
]All benefits from the Polearm Master Feat.[]Your main hand melee weapon gains the extra reach property for the purposes of using the Polearm Master benefits. This doesn't actually extend the weapon's reach. It just gives it the extra reach property, so you can use the polearm master stuff. Even if your rage ends early, this feature will still persist for the full ten turn duration.
[]When you damage an enemy with a melee or thrown weapon attack, they must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC (8 + Proficiency Bonus + Highest of Strength or Dexterity), or receive the Bleeding Condition for one turn.
Once per combat use an action to move up to 9m towards a target and make a melee weapon attack against them. On a hit, they take an additional 1d6 damage. At Level 6, the additional damage increases to 1d8. At Level 10, it increases to 1d10. Doesn't count against your movement.
Level 6.
Improved Bloodlust
-

[
]Your allies have advantage on attack rolls against enemies within 2. 5m who have the Bleeding Condition.Level 10.

💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this is a homebrew subclass, review it with your DM before adding to your campaign.
- If you're using a digital character sheet, manually input the subclass features and track the special bleeding condition separately.
- Pair this subclass with feats or items that boost damage over time, like the Poisoner feat, to maximize synergy.
