In the class files, both Cleric and Paladin include a HasGod variable, but Paladin had it disabled.
Only these two classes contain this variable, suggesting that deity selection was originally intended for Paladins.
After enabling it, Paladins can now choose a deity and even reference it in dialogue.
Examples include conversations with Shadowheart as a Selûne follower or with Nettie as a “Paladin of Selûne.”
This mod restores that intended functionality for players who want their Paladin to serve a true divine patron.
All deities are available.
You can install mid-playthrough, but changing deity requires visiting Withers.
Shar and Drow deity restrictions apply as normal.
